The Cab Control Unit (CCU) provides an interface to the Gooseneck and Handset microphones, the cab loudspeaker, the pushbuttons and the voice radio. The interface with the voice radio can made directly with its digital and analogue input/output; no need to go through UIC conversion. A redundant power supply is possible. The CCU has a compact metal enclosure to fit also in condensed areas.
