At Luminator, our mission is clear: to make life easier for our customers while strengthening our ability to deliver exceptional service. That’s why we’ve taken a significant step forward by consolidating our German business entities under one unified brand—Luminator Germany GmbH.

For years, our presence in Germany reflected our growth from the acquisition of multiple leading transit technology companies in the bus segment, including Mobitec, Gorba, BMG and Lawo, formerly known as Lawo Informationssysteme.

Over time, this structure resulted in multiple separate legal entities operating under the Luminator umbrella. While this approach served us well during expansion, it also created unnecessary complexity for our customers and internal teams.

Today, these top brands—including their operations and legal entities—are now consolidated under the Luminator Germany GmbH brand.

This change has no impact on LTG Rail GmbH business and its operating practices. Those customer relationships and service agreements are not affected.

Why is this good for you?
This change is part of a broader strategy to streamline operations and provide a cohesive, singular customer experience. Moving away from multiple fragmented identities to a single brand allows us to focus on what matters most—delivering value to our customers.

What’s changing?
All communications—including customer communications, onboarding guidelines, proposals, and more—will come from Luminator Germany GmbH. This means:

• One point of contact for all your transit technology needs in Germany
• Streamlined invoicing and question resolution
• Faster response times and greater service efficiencies

Previously, customers received documents from different entities, each with their own VAT number and administrative requirements. By consolidating into one entity, we’re eliminating these inefficiencies and creating a smoother, more transparent customer experience.

Rail service programs are unchanged. All existing contracts under LTG Rail GmbH will continue as they are and will roll into the new Luminator Germany GmbH entity.

Transition in process
While the Luminator Germany GmbH name is new, it represents the same people, expertise, and financial strength of the global Luminator organization that has served the transit community for almost 100 years.

All historical financial information is being consolidated over the next weeks, ensuring continuity, transparency, and clear view of the entity’s financial foundation.
