Luminator Technology Group to Speak at APTAtech Transportation Technology Conference on Infotainment and Machine Learning

What:
Improving the Mass Transit Experience with Passenger Information Systems (September 16, 2019, 9:15-10:15 a.m.): In this session, Dan Kelleher will discuss the value of a cloud-based passenger information system to keep riders informed. By implementing ADA compliant systems with audio and visual alerts, transit agencies can also improve the safety and accessibility for all riders. Attendees will gain a better understanding for how a passenger information system can empower agencies with a critical link to their riders, while incorporating advertising revenue.
Machine Learning Provides Greater Safety and Efficiency to Transit Operations (September 16, 2019, 1:30-2:30 p.m.): In this session, Matt Siwek will share how an integrated video management system can provide key insights and tools to improve efficiency and improve planning. Session attendees will learn how combining video technology with advanced analytics can create a truly intelligent system and provide insight into passenger patterns and operator performance.
Luminator will also be demonstrating solutions at the APTAtech Products & Services Showcase, on September 16th in booth #208. Designed to enhance security, safety and provide real-time information for passengers on-board, the company will present INFOtransit systems integrated with the display of RoadRunner 4K resolution video. The company’s E-paper solutions will also be demonstrated. The bi-stable displays are energy efficient and can be exclusively solar-powered.
