The challenge we offer you:

As an electronic technician, you will have to prepare, execute and document the functional and environmental qualifications of electronic circuits, sub-assemblies and systems.

In addition, we will ask you, among other things to:

  • Prepare, supervise and document qualifications related emission and electromagnetic immunity (EMI/EMC) of electronic sub-assemblies.
  • Prepare, supervise and document qualifications related to the robustness (vibration, mechanical and thermal shocks) of electronic subassemblies.
  • Contribute in the installation and testing of electronic systems.
  • Analyze electronic failures and look to identify root causes.
  • Come up with effective and innovative solutions to encountered problems.
  • Work closely with designers and technical leaders.
  • Provide front-line engineering support to production and service teams.
  • Write technical documents (english/french) to support designers and production and service teams.
  • Take part in any other activities as defined in the related business process.

ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

  • Technical degree in electronics.
  • Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience in functional qualification of circuits and electronic products.
  • Experience in environmental qualification of electronic products.
  • Knowledge in electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC) (an asset).
  • Skills in solving technical problems.
  • Good laboratory practices.
  • Skilful in french and english (spoken and written).
  • Good ability to work in a team.
  • Good spirit of initiative and autonomy.
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Ability to work in a context of changing priorities.
