Mass transit drivers are highly trained before they're allowed to take their place behind the wheel. But the countless other drivers on the road? Perhaps not so much.

Safety is always an issue in moving traffic. But with the introduction of video-camera monitor systems in the mid-1980s,* bus drivers gained access to rear view mirrors that provide a clear, recorded view of traffic on both sides and behind them, as well as interior video cameras to monitor and record passenger activities within the bus.

Luminator was there then. We're still here now. And our commitment to playing a role in safety-focused products for bus transit has never wavered.
